Bloor Research analyzed the data of an SAP-conducted customer survey on SAP ASE total cost of ownership in this report. Bloor states in the report that for all 21 TCO and related metrics surveyed, SAP ASE is rated as superior to Oracle by customers who have implemented both solutions. Bloor analyzed metrics in the areas of infrastructure costs, administration, reliability, support, resource utilization, and installation and maintenance.
