Unused Indexes - MonopenobjectActitivy

Hi all,

I´m looking after unused indexes in databases searching for optselectcount and usedcount from monopenobjectactitivy. While doing the delta between the first snapshot and the last one I have several indexes that have null or 0 counts in both fields but shows increments in its logical reads.

Example:

SampleTimeObjNameIndIDLogicalReadsOptSelectCountUsedCountOperationsLastOptSelectDateLastUsedDate
2014-06-16 00:00:01.113tau_tarifa            -   359.297.424                               188                         -            1.571.563 2014-06-02 16:01:22.253 NULL
2014-06-16 00:00:01.113tau_tarifa             2     2.002.124.173                                   -                           -                           -   NULL NULL
2014-06-16 19:00:02.033tau_tarifa            -   386.775.211                               188                         -            1.595.859 2014-06-02 16:01:22.253 NULL
2014-06-16 19:00:02.033tau_tarifa             2     2.046.483.856                                   -                           -                           -   NULL NULL

If its not used why this index has reads? Any ideas about?

Another point, its if I look after indexes / tables not capture by monopenobjectactivity? Not captured its equal to not used?, I collecting it since a long period so then I compare all the objects there with each database sysobjects in order to get not used objects output.

Finally to get tables not used, I´m looking after Operations at IndexID 0 equals to 0 or null.

I´m using Adaptive Server Enterprise/15.5/EBF 20636 SMP ESD#5.2/P/x86_64/Enterprise Linux/asear155/2602/64-bit/FBO/Sun Dec  9 15:11:04 2012

Thanks in advanced.
