Sybase DB13 hourly Scheduling - Note 1912165 - SYB: Discontinuous execution of scheduled jobs

EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 - SPS 03

Sybase Release: 15.7.0.102

ODBC Driver 15.7.0.1010

Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard

Issue: Database dumps not executing/scheduling successfully from DB13 calendar.

Updated Sybase to the current latest release, 15.7.0.102 (ODBC Driver 15.7.0.1010)

Noticed Daily/Weekly scheduled backups are successful, but Hourly backups fail.

Implemented Note 1912165 for the above. Now Hourly scheduled backups appear to execute on and after the hour when the schedule is created in DB13, but they fail at all times prior to that during each day. There also seems to possibly be an issue with backups scheduled to execute at 00:00:00 (not confirmed)

I decided to create a discussion here in case anyone else is also still having these issues on the latest versions. I am new to the community, please be gentle.

More on the error:

DB13 job Status: Scheduling failed

<SID>_BS.log shows successful hourly dumps right until 00:00:00, after that only the Daily dumps continue. The dumps Scheduled in DB13 to run Hourly Example: hourly at hh:15:00 or hh:45:00 fail to schedule/execute. The failures start after 00:00:00.

In another system the failure of hourly scheduled dumps starts the following day after the hour when the schedule was created. Example: create hourly schedule at 17:00. Failure to schedule/execute starts the next day at 17:00 onward.
